Christmas was pretty good this year. I pretty much stayed home all alone for most of the day, two friends came over and we played a bit of Tekken.

I went to Cleveland with my grandparents the day before, just to have something to do, I suppose. My cousins, as usual, ignored me, and I sat alone for most of the day texting away and trying not to pass out on the couch.

Then I was told I was fat and then sadfaced until we left. Haha.

I got money for Christmas, purely, and I'm gonna save it all so hopefully I can get a laptop at some point. A good one for school would be nice. Pricey, but it would be well worth it I think.

I'm so tired, and bored. I think I'm working tomorrow, actually.

ANYWAYS. Updates, updates. I was in the hospital last week with kidney stones. It was lovely, I tell ya. Only not. Apparently they're the second worst pain next to labour pains. Yeah I'm definitely not having a baby anytime soon. If ever. x3 That solidifies it.

Anywhooo, the doctor gave me some vicodin to deal with the pain/soreness after my stay and then I came home to pass the fuck out. Staying up for over 48 hours isn't fun, especially when you're in pain.

So I think I've got my certain character all figured out. I keep changing bits and pieces of her story to suit roleplays I'm in, but most of it's all the same. I hate how indecisive I am. :/ I've been wanting to commission folks for quite some time now, but most of the reasonable artists I adore aren't taking any right now so I'll just havta be patient.

I've been practicing myself! Apparently I'm not horrible, but I know I need improvement. But so does everyone, no?

Also, Bayonetta is a super fun game. Who cares if it's just Devil May Cry with tits, it's awesome! Clocktower level on the demo made me trip balls, man. BALLLLLS. I still hate Bayonetta's hair. Sorry. That up-do looks.. ridiculous. But whatev, it's mad fun.

Now is the time for Christmas movies, egg nog (though I prefer boiled custard), and peppermint bark. My mom is helping out a cousin with baking brownies, and making some stuff to take to her for Christmas dinner. She lost her husband this year so it's the least we could do helping her out. I watched Home Alone last night, as I try to do every Christmas. It's a classic and makes me almost nostalgic. I wish AMC would play THAT more instead of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Look, it's a great movie, but it came on 4 times when I was in the hospital and I'm sick of seeing it. ;/ Play something else! There's other classic movies, for fuck sakes! :[

I better get a shower and all that good stuff done soon so I can lounge for the rest of the day.

So I'm doing this character bio for my longtime brainchild. I'm revamping her entire storyline and everything. Being that she's from Korea, I need something other than Taekwondo for her martial art. (She knows it already, but I wanted to incorporate weaponry into this new storyline I'm approaching.) Any ideas? I've been researching and have come up with nothing so far. o;

Also, I saw Ninja Assassin Friday night with lazuli. I loved it, honestly. I think Bi is adorable. And I also loved the gore, and all that noise. Fun times.


Now I wanna go see Boondock Saints 2. @_____@

I get out of school in another week or so. Quarters go by so fast here. o.o I caught my mom's illness, but I'm better now, sans the issue of my throat. I sound like a chain smoker lol.

I'm tinkering around with various tutorials in photoshop, and I've come to the realization that.. I'm paying money to someone who doesn't even teach me. He's just there to make sure we do our work. He hasn't TAUGHT anything the entire quarter, which makes me sadface. It's also sad how he's teaching the exact same class to two different classes. :/

Whatev, I'm already finished with my work and I'm NOT editing anything. He said to perfect our stuff and I'm just... too lazy. lol Art is boring and duder gives us a fuckton of work. Tedious work. Drawing boxes and... a still life a week. Bleh..

Math is easy peezy, and even though I don't really enjoy the class, the teacher loves me. o.O Weird. *shrug* She was singing my praises last week, after she had to send me out of class because I was ill.

I hope I get betterish professors next quarter. @_@ Not that these are bad. But I want someone who TEACHES me in design. Shit.

I invited folks over Friday to play Soul Calibur 4, and what do you know? They liked it. lol Now I just need to find a place where we can play that, and whatever games we feel like playing at the time.

If only I could play at my house more. The only reason I could do so, is because my folks were out of town. They went to my late grandfather's house near Starkville to stay and then go to a Mississippi State game. I should've taken advantage of the time and invited people over Thursday as well. Eh, oh well. Maybe they'll go out of town soon. Or maybe I'll need to wait until they're in an uber good mood to ask if I can invite a couple people over every Friday or Saturday to play some games.

Knowing them, they'll be like "We'll think about it." which means a no, because I know I'll never get my answer. And if I pester them, it'll be a definite no. Especially since they pull the old chestnut of "We don't know them." How can they know them if they don't, I don't know, meet them?

lol Oh well. I'll figure something out. It's times like these in which I wish my folks left for entire weekends all the time. Or that they were really cool about me inviting people over.

I wish I didn't have school tomorrow. I'd like to sleep in. Fucking drawing games.
